Visiting this website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build profiles and doesn't follow you across other websites.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies or store anything on your device, so there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we'll ask for your consent first, and saying no will be as easy as saying yes.
Mom's Weekly newsletter
If you sign up, we store your email address and when and how you confirmed it. We only use it to send Mom's Weekly. This is based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- You confirm your address by email before you receive anything (double opt-in).
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending straight away and delete your address.
- The newsletter is sent with MailerLite, an EU-based email service that processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
Social media and messages
Links to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies. If you message Mom or comment a keyword on Instagram, the reply may be sent automatically using ManyChat. We only use your message to reply to you.
Affiliate links
Some product links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always marked where they appear. The shop you visit may use its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some of our providers are based in, or use subcontractors in, the USA. Where data leaves the EEA, it's protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, loads no third-party scripts except Cloudflare's own analytics, and is checked for privacy and security changes every month. Found a security problem? See our security contact.
