About Mom
The mom who's always a message away, even after you've moved out.
Who she is
Mom is Head of Operations at a busy hotel. Every day she makes sure hundreds of rooms are clean, the kitchen runs, the laundry gets done and the budget adds up. At home she's the same: organised, active and quick with a shortcut.
She knows that moving out is exciting and a bit overwhelming. Nobody tells you how to get a stain out, what to cook on a Tuesday or where your money goes. So Mom does, in short videos and a weekly email, without making you feel silly for asking.
How Mom is made
Mom is an AI-generated character. Her face, voice and videos are made with AI tools, and a real person writes, checks and approves everything before it's published. How Mom is made.
We want to be completely open about this:
- Mom is not a real person. She's a character created with AI. Her face and voice are generated, and she isn't modelled on any real individual.
- A real person is in charge. listen2mom is run by a person with many years of experience in hotels, restaurants and running operations. He writes or edits every script and checks every tip before it's published.
- Everything is labelled. Videos are marked as AI-generated on every platform, and on this site.
- Messages may be automated. Some replies on Instagram are sent automatically, for example when you comment a keyword to get a guide.
Mom's advice is general everyday guidance. For anything involving your health, safety, legal rights or serious money decisions, ask a professional.
